Such a lovely find in Margate! This little Ice Cream Bar feels like stepping back in time—in the best way. The retro vibe, old-school posters, vintage jukebox, and pastel decor give it so much charm. It’s not just a place for a sweet treat, it’s a full nostalgic experience.
The ice cream? Absolutely delicious. We had the classic vanilla with visible vanilla bean specks—creamy, rich, and homemade. You can really taste the quality. They have a great selection of flavours, and everything is clearly made with care.
Perfect stop with kids or just for yourself after a seaside walk. Highly recommend for both the vibe and the ice cream!
📍Located right in the Old Town, look for the green storefront and giant wooden lolly pop outside. Can’t miss it.Delicious ice cream, very thick and creamy. Honeycomb and salted caramel are a bit sweet but nice. You might need to queue a bit as it’s quite popular.
Came here last year that yesterday we popped back on our annual visit ! Firstly the aesthetic of the shop is beautiful making the visit a real experience. On top of this the staff are really friendly but also the ice creams are sensational! Really creamy and rich flavours made really well. Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted! 10/10 would recommend

Quite simply the world’s greatest ice cream. A massive thank you to Mr. Ramsay and to Mr. Williams themselves for blessing us with their delicious creations. You are the ice cream GOATs 🐐 I’m not surprised to this place has such a high rating. It’s a really attractive little shop and their product is sensational. Massive congrats to all involved!

The ice creams were soo creamy🫠 tried chocolate, vegan peanut and coffee walnut, definitely one of the best ice creams I've tried 😊
So creamy and satisfying! One of the best ice creams I’ve had. I had a half Ginger and Marmalade and a half mint chocolate chips. So yummy!

Usually I just get one for her but upon seeing the flavours I could not help but get a cone for myself and same for my cousin. This is by far the best ice cream we have ever tasted. So creamy and rich! Like unbelievably! Anyone who complains that this ice cream is too rich, has never tasted real ice cream. Cream being the operative word. We liked it so much we we went back and shared an additional favour between the three of us. Sorry the photos are bad because we couldn’t stop eating it and it was also a very warm day!- Service

Ramsay and Williams Ice Cream Bar is a must-visit in Margate with a fantastic variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. We tried the chocolate, which was absolutely fantastic—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Each scoop comes with their trademark wafer, adding a perfect crunch to every bite. A delightful treat by the seaside!

An awesome range of interesting & enticing flavours that still somehow seem to still be able to exceed your expectations in their pure deliciousness!
I’ve not had creamier ice cream ever and every choice (& multiples of choices on my 4-flavour Double cone) went down an absolute storm, including the incredible ice lollies.
Walked along the street and was kindly asked where I got my ice cream from!
Quality clearly visible even as folk walk past.
Gosh I wish this place was closer!Absolutely lovely ice cream and sorbet. The range of sorbet was really good, I have been very disappointed this year with other shops choices (just lemon & mango) so it was brilliant to be able to have something different and it tasted amazing!
Apart from the sun and the beach, this may have been my fav part of the trip to Margate and I will definitely recommend to everyone!! Flavours are amazing and I love the option of a half scoop (you can get up to 4!!!)

Oh...my...GOD. This is the creamiest ice cream I have ever consumed. Its unreal. The flavours are superb, I had maple pecan and coffee fudge, both were absolutely phenomenal, and the cone was really good too. Service was great and very fast. Not cheap but this is a quality product trust me its worth it!
Genuinely the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I had honeycomb and pistachio and they were the creamiest ice cream, it almost tasted similar to cheesecake in how creamy it was! It’s a week later and I’m still thinking of this and wish I lived nearer so I could go back.

Highly recommend getting maple pecan and honeycomb. It’s sweet and creamy but an overall balanced flavor. A mouthful of ice cream together with the cone is a taste of another level. Lovely ice cream bar with beautiful exterior and an adjacent vintage shop/gallery next to it. Worth a visit!
